NDEW 2019

This year the Destin Commons shopping center moved us out of the middle to the area near the 4 public charge stations.  Unfortunately this resulted in less foot traffic from the public.  We had 9 Tesla Model 3, 8 Model S, 2 Model X, 1 Nissan LEAF, 1 BMW i3 and 1 Fiat 500e.  This is less turnout than in years past 🙁

The Southern Alliance for Clean Energy (SACE) attended as part of their Driving on Sunshine campaign and gave test drives in their Model X (10 test drives)  Other attendees gave 5 test drives.

We did two EV parades through the outdoor shopping mall to attract more foot traffic.  The parades were effective in increasing foot traffic.

Another big thank you to B & C Technologis, Coastal Powersports and Emerald Coast Science Center for donating prizes!  And of course thank you to the Destin Commons for once again hosting our EVent.

This year would not have been the success that it was without our volunteers, sponsors, vendors and participants bringing out their vehicles to educate public about Electric Vehicles and how to Kick Gas!
